Alepant house GmbH is a management consultancy with a focus on the right organizational, leadership and sales design for its customers. Your CSO Johannes has worked with Google for years and CEO Wolfgang is the President of the Entrepreneurial Organization Germany. Now the two experienced entrepreneurs have made it their mission to support growing companies in their development. Always with a network of experts in the relevant areas of sales, structure business development, leadership, corporate law and new hope in times of crisis.

Challenge

Through years of experience in working with small and large teams, Wolfgang knows how important it is to have a strong team spirit and a deep understanding for one another. He felt that potential conflicts were looming and that the positive synergies of the various talents and motivations were not being used to the full. So a solution had to be found in order to understand each other better, to optimally distribute areas of responsibility and thus to develop the full potential of the collaboration.

Solution

We started with individual profile analyzes from Profile Dynamics®. For this, everyone on the team did a 20-minute online analysis of their own motive structure. Because in order to concentrate on team dynamics and potential in cooperation, you first have to be able to grasp what is important to you and what kind of cooperation draws you energy. We analyzed the results individually in a digital debriefing with each team member. Bigger ‘aha experiences’ were not lacking and everyone learned to understand their own motivation better. In addition, each team member could individually reflect on the current cooperation with a coach.

 

The change in perspective from one’s own motivation to that of the entire team and especially that of the other team members followed in a second step. Through the team side, everyone recognized how the team as a whole is built up emotionally, where positive synergies lie dormant and where the conflicts that are already emerging quietly arise. In this step, the team moved even closer together emotionally.

 

The joint team workshop sorted and consolidated the knowledge already gained, defined a clear distribution of tasks and ensured that there was a deep understanding for one another. As a result, the Alephants team worked together much more efficiently and harmoniously than before working with LIFT.

Result

Mit diesem effizienten Prozess lieferten wir eine perfekte Gesprächsgrundlage für die eigenen Antriebe. Dazu schafften wir ein tiefes Verständnis innerhalb der Gruppe. So konnte sich das heterogene Team gegenseitig stärken und bremsende Konflikte blieben aus. Kurzum: Das Team funktioniert nun gemeinsam deutlich besser trotz unterschiedlicher Charaktere und nutzt das eigene Potenzial auf operativer Ebene.
